This vulnerability can be used to steal sensitive information such as credit card numbers, passwords, chat messages, emails, photos, and so on. The attack works against most modern protected Wi-Fi networks and wireless devices like laptops, tablets and smartphones.
Changing the password of the Wi-Fi network does not prevent (or mitigate) the attack.
Software vendors are already in the process of providing updates for effected systems.

All work computers are set to automatically download and install updates overnight, users only need to log off after work and leave the system running.
The wireless networks at work are managed by Northern Backup, firmware updates for the Access Points are installed once they are available
